Sri Yantra symbols are composed of interlocking triangles that radiate outward from a central point - a meeting of the physical and spiritual worlds. The triangles pointing upward toward the sky represent the masculine, while the downward pointing triangles represent the feminine. This is why Sri Yantras are considered a strong symbol for the union of the masculine and the feminine divine.
Like the mandala, Sri Yantra triangles are considered instruments for meditation. For jewelry making, the interlocking triangles present many unique opportunities. Try using in either direction, dangling charms and beads from many different spots, framing the Sri Yantra within circle frames, or combining in endless variety with more geometric charms and links.
